Position Overview :
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Product Management Specialist to oversee the entire product portfolio for current and new window and door systems. Reporting directly to the VP of Marketing, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, engineering, design, and manufacturing to ensure the successful organization of current products as well as development and launch of new products that meet market trends, customer needs and company goals.
Requirements :
- 4-year degree with a min. of 3 years of experience, or 2-year degree with a min. of 5 years of professional experience in the key job responsibility areas.
- Professionally represent the company and able to communicate effectively and collaborate with cross-functional teams and convey product information to internal and external stakeholders.
- Exceptional skills in organization, project management, stage-gate methodology and practices.
- Proven experience in product management, preferably in the window industry or related fields. Familiarity with construction, architecture, or building materials is required.
- Formal product management training / certification is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess market trends, competitor products, and customer needs.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to drive product development initiatives and motivate teams towards common goals.
- Ability to adapt to changing market conditions, customer preferences, and company priorities.
- Ability to communicate effectively with all organizational levels at customer locations, from CEO to staff Engineers, Marketing and Sales personnel.
- Varying degrees of travel required throughout the year but not exceeding 25%.
