What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tool and Die Maker / Machinist position at VEKA?
Responsible for modifying & maintaining extrusion tooling and manufactured parts according to VEKA’s standards.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for making and/or modifying extrusion tooling to print
- Responsible for machining, and polish extrusion tooling
- Assembles dies and calibration
- Performs layout and inspection of completed work
- All other duties as assigned.

- In depth knowledge of all aspects of tooling technology
- Ability to handle multiple priorities through excellent time management and organizational skills.

Education:

- High School Diploma or equivalent required; technical certification is a plus.
- Hands-on experience as a machinist or familiarity in tool and die processes.
