Work Shift:
Second Shift - Manchester (United States of America)Work Shift Time:
2:45 PM - 10:45 PMJob Objective: Ability to operate weaving looms and become proficient in weaving process, following established Standard Operating Procedures. Maintain Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost standards.
Essential Job Functions:
Follow prescribed safety rules and regulations.
Operate set (s) of looms. Repair breaks, draw - in, repair smashes, perform style changes, ensure construction conforms to style sheets.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
Ability to perform all quality checks.
Doff loom pancakes and transfer to carts.
Accurately complete all necessary production paperwork and data entry.
Ability to work well with others in a team environment.
Excellent attendance required.
Full time presence required.
Ability to work overtime as required or requested including extended shifts and weekends.
Ability to assist knotters with hand tying when needed.
Additional tasks as assigned
Job Qualifications:
Ability to read, write and perform basic data entry.
Ability to complete Hazardous Communications training.
Ability to successfully complete lock out / tag out training
Proficiency in the use of a ruler.
Ability to wear hearing protection.
Requires good eyesight, ability to see fine detail.
Requires good manual dexterity and eye/hand coordination.
Minimum of three to six months of experience operating machinery.
High school diploma or GED required.
Ability to learn independently including book, web-based and classroom participation.
