Skills :
Self-starter
Experience with financial statement preparation and analysis
Knowledge of GAAP financials
Detail oriented and organized
3-5 years accounting experience
Sales tax and / or income tax experience preferred but not required
Public accounting background
Excellent computer skills and excel experience
Ability to muti-task
Critical thinker and problem solving skills
Team player
Good time-management skills
Duties :
Oversee accounting daily operations
Monitor and analyze accounting data
Reconcile and review accounting transactions. Make adjusting entries as necessary
Preparation of monthly financials statement reports
Adhere to proper accounting methods, policies and principles
Oversee accounts receivable process
Put together monthly client billings and communicate / distribute to appropriate parties
Annual 1099 filings
Excise tax return filings
Assist accounts payable team as necessary
Help with tax planning, compliance, and audits
Work with other departments to align financial strategies
Miscellaneous accounting projects as requested by Managers
Detail-oriented and able to handle pressure
Strong analytical, communication, and leadership abilities
Be a resource to help staff with questions / issues as they arise
Build efficiencies and provide recommendations
