Hybrid Role - Required to work from Vella & Co. Candle Studio 1x per week (1128 N High St - Short North); Occasional in-person meetings and events in various locations in the Columbus area; occasional assistance at studio photoshoots; occasional content filming on location at events. Work from home otherwise.

In addition to our subscription service, we’ve expanded into retail and experiential events with our lifestyle sub-brand, Vella & Co., which includes a retail location and candle-making event studio in Short North, Columbus, OH.

Founded by brother-sister duo from Columbus, OH, our company remains a tight-knit, Columbus-rooted team working between our warehouse in Bexley, retail store in Short North, and remote team members throughout the area. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a Marketing Coordinator to glow with us!

About the Role:

We’re looking for someone who blends creativity with data-driven strategy to support our marketing efforts across digital & in-store channels for Vellabox/Vella & Co. This role is perfect for someone creatively-minded and passionate about content creation, brand storytelling, and community engagement. You’ll assist in campaign execution, content creation, influencer partnerships, and data-driven marketing strategies to grow brand awareness and customer engagement.

What You’ll Do:

• Manage social media accounts and engagement forVellabox & Vella & Co. (IG/FB, TikTok, Pinterest)
• Manage & track performance of influencer partnerships.
• Create engaging social media content, staying on top of trends and analytics.
• Assist in planning marketing campaigns across channels.
• Assist with event planning and local collaborations.
• Assist with photoshoots and photoshoot planning.
• Support email marketing, SEO, and paid advertising efforts.
• Track, analyze, and report on performance in your areas using analytics tools.

What We’re Looking For:

• 2 years of experience in marketing or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of social media platforms (IG/FB, TikTok, Pinterest) and an interest in keeping up with content trends.
• A passion for creating content & the ability to create engaging, brand-aligned videos, graphics, and other digital assets.
• Experience with design platforms such as Canva and Adobe Illustrator/photoshop.
• Excellent communication skills - someone excited by the idea of collaborating with influencers and other brand partners.
• Superior copywriting and storytelling skills.
• Highly organized, creative, and proactive, with the ability to juggle multiple projects.
• A love for candles, home fragrance, and the lifestyle industry is a plus!
