What are the responsibilities and job description for the District Manager - Janitoral Services position at Velociti Services?
Velociti Services is seeking a highly motivated District Manager to oversee operational services across a designated district, with a primary focus on managing and servicing National Accounts. This role will ensure the highest standards of service delivery to our customers, working closely with national clients to maintain operational excellence. As the District Manager, you will have full P&L accountability while ensuring compliance with all safety, security, and regulatory standards. You will lead your team to meet and exceed operational goals while promoting Velociti Services' world-class service standards.
What You’ll Do
- Coach and develop direct reports to enhance service culture and performance
- Partner with Sales, Finance, and People & Culture leaders to manage team performance holistically
- Identify opportunities to increase service offerings to national accounts and transition accounts to adjacent divisions
- Develop strategies that align regional success with Velociti Services' long-term goals while servicing National Accounts
- Administer and implement quality and performance systems, processes, and procedures
- Manage and complete quality assurance for subcontractors, ensuring they meet Velociti Services’ and client expectations
- Maintain strong, professional relationships with National Accounts through regular communication and active client visitation
- Participate in weekly senior management meetings to discuss key business initiatives, compliance, financial updates, new business, and operational performance
- Engage in monthly and quarterly performance reviews with internal teams and external stakeholders
- Identify and respond to client needs in other verticals and offer additional services
- Network with potential clients, developing proposals in response to RFPs
- Prepare and present operational performance updates to senior leadership and clients
- Maintain a culture of compliance with safety, security, and regulatory standards across all levels of the organization
- Respond to inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or the business community
- Other duties as assigned
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Proven track record in facilities management leadership, with a focus on National Accounts
- Experience managing and completing quality assurance for subcontractors
- Experience with Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire decentralized teams toward a common goal
- Demonstrated success in implementing scalable processes and organizational structures
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial reports and legal documents
- Ability to effectively present information to senior leadership, public groups, and customer leaders
