Responsibilities
">As a Waterway Tenders Manager at Velociti Services, you will be responsible for operating and tending bridges, canal locks, and lighthouses to permit marine passage on inland waterways, near shores, and at danger points in waterway passages. Your duties will include supervising operations, providing safe openings for marine traffic, and following all safety protocols. You will also be responsible for informing the supervisor immediately of any incidents, malfunctions, or accidents.
">Requirements
">To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. You will also need to be able to prioritize tasks and delegate them when appropriate, as well as act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, as well as a valid driver's license and 18 years of age or older. You will also need to be able to lift up to 50 pounds and meet and comply with the weight limitation safety rating and recommendations for any equipment associated with performing your duties.
