Position: Data Quality Analyst
Pay Range: $55,000 - $85,000

What you will be doing: We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and analytical Data Quality Analyst to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of our organization's data. The successful candidate will play a critical role in monitoring, analyzing, and improving data quality to support informed decision-making and drive business success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Evaluate and assess data quality standards to identify gaps, inconsistencies, and errors.
• Conduct regular audits of datasets to ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
• Develop and implement processes to cleanse, de-duplicate, and standardize data.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to validate the accuracy and relevance of data inputs.
• Create and maintain dashboards to monitor key data quality metrics.
• Generate reports highlighting data quality issues and recommend actionable solutions.
• Assist report writers and data analysts in understanding data sources to support quality and accuracy of reports and dashboards. QC Reports on request.
• Partner with IT, data engineering, and business teams to define and maintain data quality standards.
• Support Application Development team during design phase to ensure consideration of ongoing quality and reportability of data.
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand their data needs and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
• Investigate and resolve data quality issues by identifying root causes and implementing preventive measures.
• Develop and maintain documentation for data quality processes, policies, standards, and use governance.
• Provide training and support to team members on best practices for data quality management.
• Assist with deployment documentation related to data requirements and usage.
Requirements to Apply:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience required in absence of a degree.
• 2–5 years of experience in a data quality, data analysis, or related role.
• Proven experience working with large datasets and data quality tools.
• Intermediate knowledge of data structures as well as data cleansing and transformation methods.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
• Experience creating data-focused technical and end-user documentation.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, or other data manipulation languages preferred.
• Experience with data governance frameworks is preferred.
• Working knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI preferred.
• Certification in data management or analytics is a plus preferred.
