Overview :
An Engineer at Velociti Servicves performs preventive and corrective maintenance on commercial real estate building machinery and large building systems such as mechanical, electrical, plumbing, lighting, HVAC, Chilled Water Systems, Air Handlers, Boilers, Air Handler Units, and other building systems in order to ensure optimal conditions.
The different schedules available (depending on location) are as follows :
- 1st Shift - Monday through Friday, 8 : 30AM to 5 : 00PM
- 1st Shift - Monday through Thursday 7 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PM
- 3rd Shift - Monday through Thursday 7 : 00 PM to 5 : 00 AM
- 3d Shift - Alternating : 3 nights one week, 4 nights second week. Guaranteed OT on this position.

Drive optimization of facility for clients, customers, and staff in a safe operating condition; conduct preventative and reactive maintenance; and resolve immediate operational and building safety concerns.Regularly inspect and conduct preventive tests to ensure proper working condition of all the building's equipment and overall operational infrastructure.Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair or replace failed equipment and / or non-functioning components, belts, filters, etc.Coordinate efforts with vendors and / or third parties for the most complex repairs or for services under warranty and inspect completed repairs to ensure proper operation.Conduct various locksmith tasks and / or the management of key security.Participate in and / or may lead special projects related to the improvement of building operations and efficiencies.HVAC troubleshooting and preventative maintenanceElectrical work including re-lamping, ballast replacement and breaker resetPlumbing fixture repairs, drain maintenance, and restroom preventative maintenancePerform Inspection and Maintenance of caf / kitchen equipmentManage and support maintenance of elevators, fire life safety devices, and UPSsAccess Door and Overhead Door repair / adjustment, as requiredObtain and compare estimates for work to be performed by outside vendorsEnsure that all customer complaints are handled professionally, appropriately, and in a timely manner.Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.Qualifications :
Minimum 5 years experience in operations maintenance or similar building engineering roles.EPA CertificationHigh school diploma or vocational or trade schoolExperience working on HVAC systems.Strong knowledge of work order control procedures.Ability to work at heights using ladders or similar tools.Basic computer proficiency (Word, Outlook, Smartphone)Must possess valid drivers license.Must be able to work under pressure and time deadlinesWork independently and as part of a team, requiring strong communication and interpersonal skillsPhysical Requirements :
