Overview
A Janitorial Supervisor at Velociti Services is responsible for leading a team of cleaners in their cleaning tasks. The Janitorial Supervisor is to ensure all work areas are cleaned by cleaners to Velociti Services and client standards, be responsive to clients' enquiries and specific requests, and communicate clients' cleaning requests to their teams.
Responsibilities
Duties / Responsiblities :
- The supervision of all cleaning staff focusing on their performance in terms of standards of cleanliness and their behavior whilst on duty
- Must possess excellent communication skills in speaking, writing, and even in listening
- Must have good interpersonal attributes. That is to say, the supervisor must be someone that gets along easily with people (easily approachable)
- Must be outstanding when it comes to organization and coordination of both humans and their activities
- Ensuring that a best-in-class cleaning service is delivered to all areas of the worksite / building
- Reviewing work schedules
- Keeping track of inventory, ordering of cleaning materials / supplies and equipment
- Monitoring of all cleaning activities
- Ensuring all staff are aware of the Health and Safety policies and procedures
- Quickly resolving disputes between staff
- Training new employees
- Filling in / General Cleaning as needed
- Communicating with management
- Resolve any complaints and conflicts
- Discipline and reward employees
- Maintaining good relationships with customer
- Conduct worksite inspections
- Other duties as assigned or requested
