Our construction company is seeking an experienced construction professional with excellent leadership skills. If you're good at managing schedules and subcontractors, maintaining safety and compliance at a construction site, andensuring projects are completed to code and quality standards then you might be perfect as our next construction superintendent.
Responsibilities:- Keep a daily record of project progress and home improvements for the project manager and the homeowner
- Consult with the project's stakeholders to ensure that the project remains within budget
- Assess subcontractor progress against timelines and performance targets to ensure that work is completed on schedule and to the highest possible quality
- Reduce accidents and delays on construction sites by ensuring strict adherence to health and safety regulations and reporting any problems to the project manager as soon as they arise
- Physical stamina to lift at least 40 lbs and use heavy equipment
- Possesses a deep understanding of the construction industry and the entire building process, including building codes, permits, construction equipment, material resources, project management principles, and construction methods
- Proficient in basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office software
- Superb organizational, leadership, time-management, and communication skills
