What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bartender position at Velocity Esports?
Daily tasks:
- Love to create unique cocktails, elevating the usual to the unusual
- Make menu recommendations to guests
- Energetic engagement with guests
- Taking pride to ensure maintenance of our stations, sections, bar and tables are addressed through sidework and pre-bussing
- Processing payment of checks, returning change and issuing receipts
- Exhibiting teamwork by consistently working alongside team members
- Inventory of liquor, beer, and wine – this includes but is not limited to daily or weekly perpetual counts
- Assisting with special events as needed
- Uphold liquor license and food handling laws
Musts:
- At least 1-year previous bartending experience
- TiPS or other locally required alcohol training certification (unexpired)
- Food Handler’s card
- Previous serving experience
- Killer interpersonal skills - you’re an extrovert, or at least can play off as one really well ;)
- Ability to effectively handle cash
- Be passionate about guest service
