What are the responsibilities and job description for the Runner position at Velocity Esports?
$500 signing bonus for this position, payable after 30 days of employment.
Daily Tasks
- Bring out food orders to the proper tables
- Maintain dining area cleanliness
- Be attentive, friendly, and courteous to guests.
- Serve hot food while it's hot and cold food while it’s cold. To accomplish this, we must work as a team.
- If your section is slow, help your fellow staff members, stock a side station, wipe a countertop, clean a window... prepare the restaurant for the busy time we know is coming soon!! Be aware of what's going on around you.
- Assist servers in any duties necessary including opening and closing procedures.
- Making sure all items are stocked to correct par levels and rotated according to the dates
- Expo station stocking and organization.
Musts:
- Be able to communicate and understand English.
- Possess excellent basic math skills and have the ability to operate Micros system.
- Must have guest-orientated approach and patience along with excellent people skills.
- Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 5 hours).
- Be able to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
- Comply with all federal, state, county, and municipal regulations that pertain to health and safety.
