What are the responsibilities and job description for the Server position at Velocity Esports?
Servers are expected to interact with our Guests by creating positive interactions and serving Guests in a friendly, courteous, and efficient manner. Attention to Guests needs is pivotal in being successful.
Daily Tasks:
- Greet Guests with genuine enthusiasm
- Ensure maintenance of our stations, sections and tables are addressed through sidework and pre-bussing
- Ensuring every Guest leaves having the best experience possible
- Suggestive selling
- Processing payment of checks, returning change and issuing receipts when applicable
- Exhibiting teamwork by consistently working well alongside of fellow staff members
- Filling in for absent staff members, if needed
- Assisting with special events
Musts:
- Previous serving experience preferred
- Excellent oral communication skills required
- Positive interpersonal skills
- Excellent math skills: ability to process cash handling
- Must obtain or possess any local or state regulation requirements regarding food handling or liquor service, if applicable.
