Crystal City, VA | HybridSummary : This position supports the Program Management Office (PMO) by providing strategic communications, including : Provide day-to-day strategic communication (public affairs) support to PM Integrated Personnel and Pay System – Army (IPPS-A)Handle sensitive or confidential informationCoordinate Strategic Communications and Holiday messagesPlan, coordinate, and execute Town Halls and conferencesPrepare and coordinate briefingsWrite publications and articlesMaintain the PM IPPS-A briefing libraryPrepare speechesPrepare talking points for IPPS-A leadershipPrepare a variety of documents, such as correspondence, forms, reports, and statistical tables using advanced skills and knowledge of word processing softwareAdvise writers in matters of style, syntax, and usage to improve the general quality and effectiveness of communications to include AR 25-50Minimum Qualifications : 10 years of experience, and a MA / MS degree or equivalent years of experienceProven track record of working on high-visibility or mission-critical aspects of a given program and performing all functional duties independentlyMust have a Secret ClearanceKnowledge, Skills, & Abilities : General knowledge of DoD acquisitionProficiency in Microsoft Office 365 productsKnowledge of the Army’s AR 25-50Strong coordination, organization, teaming, and communication skillsExcellent organizational, scheduling, and prioritization skillsAbility to work well individually or in a group settingAbility to listen and understand task descriptions and requestsAbility to explain problem resolutionsAbility to quickly respond to time-critical queries from leadershipAbility to work independently without direct supervision or guidanceFlexible work from home options available.
