Parts Manager – Velocity Powersports

Key Responsibilities:

· Lead, train, and develop a high-performing parts sales team dedicated to providing exceptional support to both the service department and customers.

· Oversee inventory management to ensure optimal stock levels, efficiency, and profitability.

· Set and achieve monthly and annual department objectives to drive revenue growth.

· Maintain appropriate stocking levels and monitor inventory turnover to maximize margins.

· Analyze market trends, pricing strategies, and competitor activity to ensure competitive positioning.

· Utilize dealer management tools such as CDK, Lightspeed, and other inventory management systems.

· Stay up to date with industry trends and make strategic purchasing decisions.

· Ensure the department meets or exceeds sales and gross margin performance standards.

· Perform additional duties as necessary to support the success of the parts department

Qualifications & Requirements:

· Minimum 3 years of experience in retail parts sales and inventory management.

· Proven ability to lead, mentor, and motivate a sales team.

· Strong organizational skills and goal-oriented mindset.

· Experience with point-of-sale and computerized inventory systems; ability to learn new software quickly.

· Excellent communication skills for effective interactions with employees and customers.

· Passion for powersports; knowledge of motorcycle, ATV, and watercraft parts is a plus but not required.
