Velocity Rail Solutions, Inc. has a history dating back to 1996. We have long-term fixed contracts with Class I Railroads to fuel and service locomotives using specialized equipment. Our dedicated trucks operate 24 / 7, 365 days a year, in all types of weather. Our work is not seasonal, ensuring consistent pay you can count on!
Highlights :
- Compensation :
- 1,365 / Weekly (60 hours)
- 1,014 / Weekly (48 hours every 3rd week)
- Schedule : Overnight 60-60-48
- 60 Hours) :
- Saturday Through Wednesday : 5 PM to 5 AM (Overnights)
- Thursday and Friday : Rest Days
- Every 3rd week (48 Hours) :
- Saturday Through Tuesday : 5 PM to 5 AM (Overnights)
- Wednesday, Thursday and Friday : Rest Days
- Requirements : Must have a Class A CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements.
- Pay Frequency : Paid weekly
- Home Time : Home daily
- Experience : Previous experience hauling Hazmat is NOT required.

Responsibilities / Job Duties : Velocity Rail Solutions drivers are responsible for loading, transporting, and transferring red-dyed diesel into trains and / or storage tanks on an 'on-call' basis for the Railroad. On-the-job training will be provided for qualified individuals. The Railroad maintains dedicated trucks and drivers on duty 24 / 7 / 365, including nights, weekends, and holidays, ensuring consistent paychecks. You will be paid for a full 12 hours each shift, including breaks, lunches, and any wait time for dispatches. You will be paid for all 'on-duty' hours, regardless of the specific task you are dispatched for.
