Project Engineer- Architecture Firm
General Summary
Our client, a leading engineering and design firm, is seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join their team. The Project Engineer will report to a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager and will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day project activities , ensuring quality control and project deliverables , conducting shop drawing reviews , and managing all phases of project design related to site design .
Supervisory Responsibilities
This position does not have supervisory responsibilities .
Essential Duties
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
- Manage all phases of the project from design to contract documentation , shop drawing checks , site visits , and project closeout .
- Possess practical management skills to plan, direct, and monitor all aspects of projects.
- Supervision received is primarily administrative, with assignments provided in general terms and objectives.
- Make civil engineering design decisions independently, elevating more complex decisions to the Project Manager or Senior Project Manager.
- Direct and coordinate the workload with other project team members .
- Coordinate with both internal and external team members .
- Perform other duties as assigned.
