PROJECT DIRECTOR
Seeking Project Directors who lead multiple projects and project teams through sales, estimating, and execution. These individuals exude the highest level of integrity, loyalty, ownership, and discipline while inspiring their teams to dominate the customer experience. They are the front line for customer satisfaction and ultimately responsible for safety, profit, and loss on projects.
Responsibilities:
· Instills a culture emphasizing team, integrity, loyalty, ownership, and discipline
· Bolsters positive relationships with all members of the customer’s team and reinforces the importance of relationships with project teams
· Forges relationships with key union leaders and subcontractors to ensure GK receives best possible support
· Vigilantly seeks opportunities to deploy Kaiser Enterprise business units beyond base project scope
· Provides bid strategy, GC plan, fee structure, final review, and presentation to Executive Leadership while ensuring customer intent and accuracy on all pursuits
· Places safety as overriding factor on all jobsites supporting from top down
· Expert in all things project management and facilitates mentorship for junior leaders in standard operating procedures
· Overall profit and loss responsibility including monthly forecasting provided to Executive leadership
· Ensure safety is the leading driving factor in jobsite culture
· Maintains availability to the customer and Executive Leadership so challenges and be tackled swiftly
· Mitigate risk while prioritizing task in support of project teams under high stress environments
Experience requirements: Previous experience in an industrial construction environment is required.
· Education requirements: construction management degree, engineering degree, or architecture degree from an accredited college or university or related trade experience is preferred.
Qualifications:
· Knowledge of design, construction, finance, and management with a thorough understanding of corporate and industry practices
· Proven ability to coach, train and mentor others and drive results for the overall project success
· Demonstrates ability to communicate clearly and concisely in a professional manner both verbally and written regardless of situation and can negotiate conflict with customers and subcontractors
· Broad knowledge and experience in estimating, scheduling, budgeting, cost control, field supervision, financial reporting, and client relationships
· Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project and/or Primavera Scheduling software, familiarity with BIM
Compensation: $140,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year
