Essential Functions and Purpose:
Administer Certify business expense report for approximately ½ of US employees. Administer company credit cards for approximately ½ of US company cardholder
Principal Responsibilities:
Certify:
- Maintain accurate Certify employee list including:
- Terms
- Changed positions
- New Hires
- Process reimbursable and non-reimbursable business expenses twice monthly
- Review each expense for policy compliance, receipt and coding.
- Balance non-reimbursable expenses to company credit card
- Create Bank ACH for release
- Create and post journal entry in Excede for expense/accrual and cash disbursement
- Process manual disbursements as needed
- Balance Certify accrual GL monthly
- Help maintain Accrued Purchases Schedule for Certify
- Set up and term EE's
- Routing daily maintenance, such as credit limits, passwords, etc.
- Balance cc st to GL
- HS Diploma or GED.
- 2 years of experience working for a dealership accounting or admin department
- Understand the process and flow of a deal
- Knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP)
- Understanding of balance forward and aging schedules
- Experience with Dealer Management Systems; Proficient in all Microsoft suite- must know how to leverage Excel for accounting
- Able to work independently while also being a collaborative, team player with a result driven approach in a fast-paced environment
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, practices, programs and methodologies, and Dealer licenses
- Curiosity, creativity and effective research skills
- Self-driven, analytical thinker with effective organizational and planning skills
- Must maintain high level of discretion and confidentiality
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Certificate or bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance
- Experience with Excede and Arcadium
- Experience with DMV documents
- $23-$25 hourly depending on skills and qualifications.
