VTRL is looking for a Senior Fleet Technician to join their team in City of Industry, CA for following hours: Monday - Friday between 1:30pm to 10pm!

What You’ll Do:

As a Fleet Technician-Senior Level at Velocity Vehicle Group, you will work under general supervision to diagnose and repair minor mechanical and electrical problems in accordance with standard repair practices and compliance guidelines. You will perform preventive maintenance inspections, road test vehicles, and mentor lesser qualified technicians.

Job Duties:

• Advanced knowledge and full understanding of Heavy-Duty Electrical systems utilizing the proper Diagnostic Tools
• Able to identify the root cause of failures/conditions on all systems and components along with performing the repairs as required
• Major component rebuilds and replacement experience in engine, transmission, and axle systems
• Diagnose and repair minor mechanical and electrical issues in vehicles.
• Perform preventive maintenance inspections and road tests.
• Mentor junior technicians.
• Comply with all Federal and State compliance guidelines.
  
  

Job Qualifications & Requirements:

• 4 years of experience in automotive/heavy truck maintenance.
• Class B Commercial Driver’s License.
• Prior training or experience in heavy-duty electrical systems diagnostics.
• CFC 609 Certification.
• Basic welding skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  
  

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times
• Must be able to pass post offer drug test, and physical
  
  

Compensation:

• $36-$38/hourly depending on experience and qualifications
• Full Time position
