**FULL-TIME/IN-OFFICE ROLE FOR REAL ESTATE ATTORNEY**
Velocity Venture Partners seeks a mid-level real estate attorney with commercial experience to join our growing Bala Cynwyd, PA investment firm.
Responsibilities include:
- Preparing and negotiating lease documents such as agreements, renewals, subordination agreements, consents, assignments, etc.
- Analyzing complex data, interpreting laws, evaluating alternatives, and developing strategies for effective tenant issue resolution.
- Providing legal advice on property management, lease renewals, assignments, subleases, and leasing transactions.
- Organizing acquisition and sale closings.
- Reviewing title commitments, surveys, zoning reports, and real property diligence.
- Facilitating communications between counterparties and their counsel.
- Monitoring transaction deadlines.
- Managing litigation matters assigned to outside counsel.
- Document management.
Qualifications:
- Admitted to the Bar in Pennsylvania and/or New Jersey, in good standing.
- At least 5 years prior associate attorney experience at a law firm or in-house position.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well with staff and leadership.
- Excellent communication skills, including virtual environment.
- Ability to manage workflow, work under tight deadlines, and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and commitment to excellent work product.
- Team player with a collaborative spirit.
