Duties And Responsibilities
- Build and maintain relationships with dealerships to sell Velocity Restorations’ vehicles.
- Actively prospect, identify, and onboard new dealership partners.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
- Educate dealership representatives about the Velocity Restorations brand, products, and value proposition.
- Act as the primary point of contact for dealership accounts, ensuring satisfaction and fostering long-term partnerships.
- Manage dealer vehicle stock, including pre-specifying vehicle options and builds dedicated to dealers.
- Attend automotive trade shows, events, and dealership meetings to network and generate leads.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth communication, order fulfillment, and client satisfaction.
- Maintain detailed records of sales activity, leads, and dealership interactions in the CRM system.
- Provide regular sales forecasts and performance reports to leadership.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with a relentless drive to achieve and exceed targets.
- Ability to travel frequently to meet with dealership partners and attend events.
- Strong organizational skills and proficiency in CRM systems.
- Passion for luxury and performance vehicles, with a commitment to representing the Velocity brand at the highest level.
Minimum Expectations
- To sell a yearly total of 50 vehicles through the dealer network.
- To finalize and document specifications and contracts for each dealer product respectively.
- To strategize dealer locations, incentives and performance metrics and implement how to display these products at events.
- To onboard new dealers and train dealer sales representatives on Velocity products.
- To develop and maintain a Velocity Dealer Portal.
- To compile weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly dealer report as outlined by the Chief Revenue Officer.
- All minimum expectations.
- To sell a yearly total of 60 vehicles through the dealer network.
- To achieve an additional revenue rate of 10% via dealer sales.
- All moderate expectations.
- To sell a yearly total of 70 vehicles through the dealer network.
- To achieve an additional revenue rate of 20% via dealer sales.
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license with good driving record
- Proven sales experience, preferably in the automotive industry or a related field.
- Experience working with dealerships or B2B sales is highly preferred.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk or workstation.
- Occasional standing or walking within the office or shop, such as attending meetings, retrieving documents, or interacting with customers or employees.
- Occasionally lifting and carrying items, typically weighing up to 10-20 pounds.
- Frequent use of fingers and hands for typing, writing, and operating a computer.
- Using telephones, printers, copiers, and other office tools.
- Frequent need to focus on printed or digital material.
- Reviewing financial documents, schedules, or customer data with accuracy.
- Regular communication with customers, vendors, and team members, either in person, on the phone, or via video conferencing.
- Engaging with customers in person or over the phone, sometimes requiring extended periods of active listening and problem-solving.
- Prolonged exposure to hot or cold temperatures.
- Mild noise from office machines or nearby shop areas if the office is adjacent to the workshop. PPE may be required while walking through the shop.
- Moving around the office or between departments, sometimes requiring the ability to climb stairs.
- Safely operate a motor vehicle.
