Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Order Picker to join our team. The Order Picker will be responsible for accurately selecting and preparing products for shipment in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This role is crucial in ensuring that customer orders are fulfilled accurately and efficiently, contributing to overall customer satisfaction.
Duties
- Accurately pick products from shelves according to order specifications.
- Use handheld scanners to track inventory and ensure accurate order fulfillment.
- Pack and label products for shipment, ensuring all items are secure and correctly identified.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
- Assist in inventory management by reporting discrepancies or damaged items.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals and deadlines.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures while operating equipment.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a warehouse or order picking role is preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Basic math skills for counting and measuring products.
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings or weekends as needed.
