You will be in a steering wheel of business critical and complex projects aimed at improving regional performance trajectory by leveraging your problem-solving toolbox and great stakeholder management skills.
You will be joining our Regional Business Development function at VELUX in our US headquarter in Fort Mill and travelling in the region is a part of the job and we expect up to 60 travel days in a year.
Salary: $8,182 to $10,227 Monthly
Key Responsibilities
You will be engaging in projects independently with many stakeholders, sub-workstreams involved, aimed at improving regional performance trajectory within strategic, commercial and operational excellence.
You will be driving the thorough analytical problem solving identifying the primary growth vectors and assisting the team transitioning into execution mode.
Other key tasks will be to:
- Assist the Business Development Director and Regional EVP in identifying pockets of opportunities through in-depth analysis and by applying a hypothesis driven approach to problem solving.
- Be part of facilitating the regional business cycle, templates, and operationalisation strategic priorities into meaningful and actionable priorities.
- Assist the management team and region with analytical-, problem solving- and strategic deliveries to identify areas of improvement, propose projects to be prioritised and play a key role in making them alive.
- Engage with Global commercial excellence and global commercial excellence and Group strategy to drive, adopt and develop global best practices
The ideal candidate will have a relevant degree, such as economics or business combined with a minimum of 3-4 years of experience working with a top Management Consulting company and/or from an in-house strategy/business development unit in a larger company.
Experience from working within a consumer-oriented business (e.g., FMCG, retail, branded consumer goods etc.) and with M&A is considered an advantage
You have excellent communication skills and enjoy hosting workshops, engaging and motivating people and getting everyone together to create something better than what we can do on our own.
Furthermore, you:
- Are passionate about creating results, and you believe in an appreciative approach in the execution of change
- Believe in authenticity and in recognising and respecting others for who they are while having a strong voice of your own
- Possess a sophisticated problem-solving toolbox and profound analytical capacity
- Are tech-savvy with excellent skills in PowerPoint and Excel, ensuring top quality deliverables
- Are fluent in written and spoken English.
