Who You Are
Justworks is seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of People Business Partner Team to guide our People Business Partner team in delivering strategic people solutions that drive business success and create an environment where our team members can grow, thrive and feel seen. They will enable leaders to develop and cultivate healthy, high performing teams, aligning people strategy and programs to deliver on our ambitious goals of helping small businesses grow with confidence. The leader of this team will offer strategic partnership, consultation and hands-on execution to deliver our most impactful talent initiatives. This role will be embedded with the business, working closely with the leadership teams on all organizational and people related matters, including aligning the People strategy to business objectives, enhancing team performance, supporting employee career experiences and driving transformational people initiatives to accelerate growth. They will be expert at driving large-scale change management in a fast-paced, high-growth, tech forward environment.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Enable and coach leaders on strategic initiatives to drive progress and impact on organizational goals through the proactive engagement, development and retention of talent.
- Lead, develop and scale a high performing team of HRBP’s for the organization, creating a consistent operating and partnership model
- Collaborate and partner with the People leadership in the development of key Talent Management strategies while using a data informed approach
- Guide and strengthen manager and leadership capability, leading the organization through talent practices including performance coaching, succession planning and proactive engagement initiatives.
- Support organizational design and talent strategy through strategic partnership, subject matter expertise and high-quality execution of programs and talent practices.
- Serve as a trusted advisor and partner to senior leaders, providing insights on people strategy, organizational design, and talent management
- Align HRBP initiatives with company-wide goals, ensuring seamless integration with functional strategies.

The base wage range for this position based in our New York City Office is targeted at $225,000.00 - $275,000.00 per year.

Actual compensation is based on multiple factors that are unique to each candidate, including and not limited to skill set, level of relevant experience, and specific work location. Salary ranges for positions based in other locations may differ based on the cost of labor in that location.
