What are the responsibilities and job description for the Vascular Sonographer position at Venaflux, PLLC?
Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic sonographic examinations using specialized equipment
- Obtain and record patient history and clinical data relevant to the ultrasound examination
- Evaluate the nature of critical and emergency procedures, and rearrange patient priorities when necessary
- Analyze sonograms, synthesizing information to provide preliminary findings for physicians
- Maintain patient records and add medical notes related to the ultrasound procedure
- Ensure the proper care, maintenance, and operation of ultrasound equipment
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to protect patients and staff during procedures
Requirements:
- Proficient in medical terminology and sonography techniques
- Knowledge of diagnostic evaluation, anatomy, physiology, and aseptic technique
- Familiarity with venous ablation procedures and interpretation of results
- Ability to accurately measure vital signs and assess patient condition during procedures
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to maintain accurate records and documentation
Required:

-RPhS certification
