What are the responsibilities and job description for the Human Service Aide position at Venango Training and Development Center?
We are seeking an individual part time approximately 21 hours per week. This position is responsible to assist in with the planning and implementation of recovery activities and supporting the daily operations of the Center. Some additional responsibilities would be to interact and display appropriate social skills with the consumers, assist consumers with personal, social, and other situations by referring them to appropriate resources, attend staff training and any other meetings or activity requested by the Coordinator, complete the appropriate paperwork in a timely manner, deal with emergencies, as they arise, and report any unusual problems, coordinate peer support mechanisms with consumers through example, assist consumers in the development of a consumer-run center, increase consumers’ knowledge and ability in the area of fund raising, and ensure that members participate in keeping the building clean and free of debris, while on duty.
The rate of pay is $10.40 per hour. Interested applicants, please apply.
