Senior Transmission Engineer
Location - Maine
Salaries range from $120k-$170k plus 401k, Health Insurance, Vacation, PTO, Bonus Schemes and ESOP plans.

Key Responsibilities :
Lead transmission line design. Utilise knowledge of systems ranging from 34.5kV to 500kV
Provide QA / QC reviews on drawing packages
Generate cost effective design for high voltage electrical transmission lines
Operating company software such as PLS-CADD
Work alongside other departments and represent the engineering department in meetings
Monitor team progress and activities to ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget
Site visits and travelling out of town for short periods, when required.
The successful candidate must have / show :
Bachelor's degree in civil or electrical engineering.
Require 7 years experience in transmission line design.
A PE license or E.I.T is preferred.
Proficient with PLS-CADD.
Experience in an EPC environment, preparing cost effective designs.
Knowledge and understanding of engineering standards including NESC, IEEE, ASCE, ACI and ANSI that apply to transmission design
