Vendor Direct Solutions, LLC (VDS), an industry leader in providing on-site and technology solutions for law firms and other professional service providers, is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Office Services Supervisor in the San Diego area. The Office Services Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day operations and staff of the Service/Copy Center. Ideal candidates must be organized, have a strong sense of prioritization, ability to multi-task and have exceptional customer service skills. They will serve as the point person on-site for customer issues and ensure customer expectations are met. They will report directly to the Director of Operations for VDS.
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee department personnel; delegating tasks and responsibilities, monitoring attendance, overtime, and performance issues.
- Coordinates daily routines, scheduling, workflow, and special projects within the Service/Copy Center.
- Work closely with and train floating VDS employees.
- Run high volume copy machines; produce the binding, cutting, and/or assembly of reprographics projects as necessary.
- Electronic imaging and printing.
- Scanning and converting documents.
- Ensure convenience copiers are working properly, checking for quality via daily inspections. Loading copy machines with paper and toner as needed. Clear paper jams and contact/inform technicians for specific problems.
- Assist VDS management with company policies and initiatives.
- Maintain records for management reports and inventory of supplies needed.
- Coordinate distribution of office supplies, fax transmissions and mail to company personnel and/or designated drop-off points as required.
- Maintain a high level of technical expertise, industry knowledge and a professional disposition.
- Assist the Facilities department with overseeing visitors’ offices, conference room management, set-up and catering support.
- Handle sensitive and confidential information.

Job Qualifications:
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.
- Strong leadership skills and willingness to function as role model within the office.
- Minimum of three years office services experience in a law firm setting and relevant supervisor/lead experience.
- Ability to interact with high level executives, administrators, attorneys, paralegals and assistants.
- Experience in using reprographics equipment, including models with color copying/printing capabilities.
- Understanding of postal equipment, including standard shipping software.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Keyboard and Windows PC/Office Suite skills.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to push, pull, bend, twist, and work standing up for long periods of time.
