What are the responsibilities and job description for the Baker position at Venerable Concepts?
Holey Rollers Donuts is looking for a new member of our bakery team! We are located in the Paseo Arts District.
Experience is recommended but not required.
A passion for baking can go a long way, we love to teach!
A little about Holey Rollers, we are a 100% made from scratch bakery and coffee shop that specializes in vegan and gluten free donuts.
This is an early morning shift position. Please do not apply if you are not able to work early morning or weekends.
Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, punctual, and engaged.
Responsibilities
- Weigh and measure ingredients
- Able to lift 50 pounds
- Make and mix dough
- Set oven temperatures and monitor or modify as needed
- Proof, shape and bake donuts and pastries
- Assist with bread, cookies, or other products.
- Clean and sanitize dishes, workstation and equipment
Qualifications
- Attention to detail in all aspects of baking
- works well and enjoys mornings and working alone
- Dedicated to working as a team towards one goal
- Experience as a Baker is a plus but not necessary!
- Weekend availability is a must
