About the Role
Vengrid Networks is seeking a dependable and self-motivated Field Technician to provide onsite and remote IT support across various client properties, including low-income and senior housing communities.
This is a field-based role that combines technical support, hands-on installation, and client-facing communication. Ideal candidates will be mechanically inclined, reliable, and able to adapt to a fast-paced, multi-site environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and resolve incoming support tickets using the company’s internal system
- Assess service requests and determine whether remote or onsite assistance is required
- Coordinate and lead weekly site dispatches to ensure efficient resource use and scheduling
- Provide remote helpdesk support to clients with basic technical issues
- Perform low-voltage wiring, equipment installations, and repairs
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to IT, networking, and electronic systems
- Maintain organized, clean, and safe work environments, following all safety protocols
- Communicate clearly with clients and internal staff
- Respond professionally to last-minute requests and shifting schedules
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in help desk, IT support, or field technician role
- At least 1 year of general labor, low-voltage wiring, or electronics installation experience
- CompTIA A Certification preferred (or equivalent hands-on experience)
- Valid New York State Driver’s License with clean driving record
- Able to lift 50 lbs and work in physical, onsite environments
- Strong time management, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to travel between multiple sites (75% of time)

Schedule Options
