Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in Residents Rooms as well as all common areas. Duties:
- Perform general cleaning duties, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and disinfecting surfaces
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, bedrooms, and common areas
- Restock supplies such as toiletries and cleaning products
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly
- Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines
- Report any maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor
- Adhere to privacy and confidentiality policies when working in residential settings
Requirements:
- Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of hospitality or industrial cleaning practices is a plus
- Familiarity with custodial procedures for different surfaces (e.g., hardwood floors, carpets)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods
- Knowledge of proper handling and disposal of cleaning chemicals.
