What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manager, Integrated Marketing Venmo position at Venmo?
Job Description Summary: We are looking for a visionary Senior Director of Product Management to oversee Venmo’s merchant-facing Commerce offerings. Venmo has two merchant-facing products today: Pay with Venmo, which enables Venmo acceptance during online checkout flows, and Venmo Business Profiles, which unlocks app-powered commerce for local sellers and service-based businesses. These merchants use Venmo to enable digital payment acceptance for in-person and remote transactions, and there remains significant opportunity to help them manage payments, engage customers, and grow their businesses. We also know that access to Venmo’s massive and differentiated consumer base is the primary reason for merchants of all sizes to accept Venmo, and that there is overwhelming demand from our merchant partners to drive discovery, acquisition, and engagement from Venmo consumers, directly within the Venmo app experience. This is where you come in. As the Senior Director of this area, you will set and execute the vision for how we meet these merchants’ needs. This is a unique opportunity to do a wide range of work: build first-party software solutions, evaluate opportunities to make Venmo a platform / marketplace on which third parties can build, establish innovative partnerships with leading merchants and/or merchant aggregators, and also touch the consumer side of the experience by creating new ways for consumers to discover and engage with merchants directly within the Venmo app. You will drive product innovation, enhance user experiences, and unlock business growth by finding new ways to meet our customers’ needs.
Job Description:
In this role, you will be responsible for the following.
Product strategy and vision: Deeply understand our customers and develop an inspiring product vision for how Venmo can help them. Assume responsibility for the merchant and (as relevant) consumer experiences we offer today, and find innovative ways to improve those and better serve our customers’ needs and jobs to be done in the future. Create and socialize the narrative within Venmo and PayPal more broadly to ensure buy-in and support for your vision across the organization.
Product development and execution: Develop and execute an ambitious product roadmap to make your vision a reality. Use qualitative and quantitate inputs to develop and refine our growth strategy and prioritize efforts. Operate with urgency and focus to ship features that improve the customer experience in a meaningful and material way, and that change the growth trajectory of our business. Partner closely with Marketing and other go to market functions to drive product awareness and adoption.
Business performance: Assume responsibility for all performance metrics, spanning revenue, margin, and customer adoption and engagement. You will be expected to deliver aggressive growth for the business, and to work with counterparts to establish targets, get buy-in for your plan to hit those targets, and secure the necessary investments to deliver on that plan. Collaborate with the finance and analytics teams to monitor ongoing product performance, and make strategic adjustments as needed to deliver results and meet or exceed targets.
Leadership and cross-functional partnership: Create a working environment that fosters innovation, speed, and impact. Prioritize speed of execution while also holding a high bar for quality. Build strong partnerships across cross-functional teams (Design, Engineering, Data Science, Finance, Marketing/GTM, Risk, Compliance, etc) to ensure alignment and deliver outstanding results for our customers.
What you need to bring:

Proven track record of successfully launching and scaling products that serve business / enterprise customers.
Strong problem solving skills, and an ability to make quick decisions in complex environments where there are real tradeoffs (e.g., across product lines, geographies, pricing levers, etc)
