Hot Shot Driver

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across various routes. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, adherence to traffic regulations, and the ability to manage time effectively. As a Truck Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely delivery of products while maintaining the integrity of the cargo.

Duties

• Operate and drive various types of trucks including flatbed, tractor-trailer, and refrigerated trailers.
• Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of goods.
• Plan routes effectively to optimize delivery times while adhering to all traffic laws.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding schedules and any issues encountered on the road.
• Handle any necessary paperwork related to deliveries and cargo.

Skills

• Proficient in truck driving with experience in route driving and commercial driving.
• Familiarity with operating manual transmission vehicles is preferred.
• Experience with flatbed, 40' goose neck trailers, or tanker trucks is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time efficiently.
• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to safety standards and regulations while on the road.

Pay: From $1.80 per mile
