#835 - RoR Developer

Job Opportunity available only for people located in Latin America.

We're looking for a Ruby on Rails Developer with 4 years of hands-on experience to join our team. You'll be working on scalable web applications, collaborating with product and design teams, and writing clean, maintainable code. We're looking for someone passionate about back-end development, comfortable with APIs, and experienced in building robust, user-focused solutions.

Requirements

• Fluent English communication (B2 or Higher level).
• 4 years of experience in IT and with Ruby on Rails.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and MVC architecture.
• Proficient with relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred).
• Experience with background job processing (Sidekiq or similar).
• Solid knowledge of Git and CI/CD practices.
• Familiarity with Docker and cloud services (AWS preferred).
• Strong communication and team collaboration skills
• Comfortable working in Agile or Scrum environments.
  
  

Nice To Have

• Experience with ReactJS or VueJS.
• Familiarity with GraphQL.
• DevOps Knowledge such as Kubernetes and Terraform.
  
  

Responsiblities

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications in Ruby on Rails.
• Collaborate with frontend developers and product managers.
• Create and maintain APIs for frontend and external services.
• Write unit, integration, and feature tests.
• Optimize application performance and scalability.
• Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers
• Contribute to architecture and technical design decisions.
