Position Summary
The CONSUMER UNIT advocates on behalf of individuals in the areas of foreclosure, garnishments, third-party collection lawsuits. In addition, the Consumer Unit is looking to expand its services.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Cover debt collection.
- Identity theft.
- Student loans.
- Fraud and financial scams.
- Consumer bankruptcy.
- Auto repossession.
- Payday loans.
- Assisting DV survivors with bad credit reports.
- Clinics to educate on consumer issues, and predatory lending practices.
