Our practice is to serve the full range of legal needs of companies in transportation and logistics whose businesses involve the transportation of freight, including brokers, carriers, and shippers.
Practice Areas : Niche practice. Transportation and logistics contracts, claims & litigation, business formation / management, Defending against preference claims in bankruptcy, confidentiality and non-compete / non-solicitation.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Motions, pleadings, discovery, some depositions (not a lot), court appearances;
- Appearing in state or federal magistrate courts.
- Often trying to remove to federal court.
- Complex litigation with multiple parties like construction litigation. Contractor, subcontractor, shipper, broker, owner
