Our company is seeking a committed and passionate Marine Electrical Engineer to become a part of our small team in Metlakatla, AK, and Aberdeen, WA. This is an entry-level position in electrical engineering. In this role, you will address all electrical requirements for our Responsibilities include planning the development of future barges, as well as maintaining and troubleshooting the existing plants.
Essencial Duties and Responsabilities
Creation of the single line diagrams for Circle Seafoods plants including the designing of all circuits.
Spec out new electrical equipment for Circle's plants to meet coast guard CFRs and All other relevant Electrical safety certifications. This includes wire, breaker panels, transformers, transfer switches, motors, control panels, sensors and more.Troubleshoot Circle Seafoods Electrical issues within the operational plantsAssist in the creation, and installation of UL listed control panels in conjunction with contracted electrical engineers.Assist in project management when electrical equipment is being installedTroubleshoot Refrigeration control panelsTroubleshooting of generators electrical and control issuesTroubleshoot field wiring issuesPrototyping and creation of new equipment for Circle seafoods fleet of barges.ControlsAssist in the design of Circle's Automation control systems
Troubleshoot and maintain Circle's Automation softwareWork with SQL databasesBasic network connectivity trouble shootingKnowledge, Skills and Abilities
