Position Summary
The HOMELESS LEGAL RIGHTS PROJECT advocates on behalf of individuals who are homeless. Currently, the unit has an opening for a full-time Staff Attorney . The Staff Attorney is responsible for providing high-quality legal services to the homeless.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- The position requires representation in many areas of law, including :
Civil and administrative legal matters, such as immigration, family law, driver license reinstatement, Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) benefits, Supplemental Security Income (SSI) and other public benefit and civil matters.
Interviewing clients at various homeless shelters in Broward County.
