VENTEON / HRS is seeking talented ACCOUNTS PAYABLE MANAGER to provide support for a manufacturer in the Troy, MI area. Contribute to the company by overseeing staff and producing timely, accurate payments to vendors. Ensure all expenses are accounted for and support the accounting month end close.
POSITION TYPE: Full Time. Direct Hire. Hybrid PAY: $90,000 - 110,000 Annual
Requirements of the Accounts Payable Manager:
- Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field.
- Automotive manufacturing industry experience is needed.
- A minimum of 8-10 years in Accounting that includes supervising an Accounts Payable team.
- Ability to reconcile and analyze accounting data.
- Good communication and organization skills.
- Technical Proficiency with MS Office including Excel, NetSuite and/or QuickBooks.
Duties of the Accounts Payable Manager:
- Meet with upper management to align processes to achieve company goals. Perform strategic planning and facilitate continous improvement activities.
- Hire, train, motivate, delegate and supervise the Accounts Payable team.
- Perform support for escalated issues.
- Ensure correct matching and coding for PO and non PO related invoices.
- Work with other teams for missing items and gaiing approvals.
- Take part in payment runs and disbursements.
- Produce Accounts Payable reports.
- Facilitate the accounting month end close process.
- Work with IT for software changes, upgrades and implementations.
Salary : $90,000 - $110,000
