Position Overview
We’re looking for a dynamic and skilled Infrastructure Engineer to join our technology team. Key Responsibilities
- Deliver end-to-end support for enterprise infrastructure—including Windows and Linux servers, virtualization tech, storage solutions, and Active Directory—to ensure system stability and uptime.
- Oversee a blend of Azure Cloud and on-prem environments, maintaining a strong focus on performance tuning, scalability, and security best practices.
- Use Azure DevOps and Infrastructure as Code principles to automate deployments and streamline release workflows.
- Maintain core networking hardware and software, such as switches, firewalls, VPNs, and telephony platforms, ensuring reliable internal and external connectivity.
- Lead multiple technology initiatives, managing shifting priorities and tight timelines with efficiency and clarity.
- Support and improve internally developed applications across multiple business units, focusing on uptime, performance, and user experience.
- Respond to infrastructure outages and provide thorough root cause analysis to prevent recurrence and enhance resilience.
- Partner with technical teams to resolve infrastructure issues, suggest improvements, and introduce innovations that enhance the technology stack.
- Document systems, processes, and best practices to build organizational knowledge and aid onboarding and support.
- Take part in the evaluation and implementation of infrastructure upgrades, staying aligned with industry advancements and business growth strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years of professional experience managing enterprise infrastructure—virtualization, cloud, networking, storage, or directory services.
- Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Azure platform, including resource provisioning, monitoring, and cost optimization.
- Hands-on experience using Terraform or similar IaC tools to manage and automate infrastructure deployments.
- Familiarity with web and application server technologies, such as IIS and JBoss.
- Proficiency in shell scripting to automate system tasks and streamline maintenance.
- Strong background in enterprise systems management, including virtual and physical server environments, network architecture, storage management, disaster recovery solutions, and AD administration.
