What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Manager position at Venteon?
Venteon is currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to fill an opening with a Tier 1 Manufacturing Company located near Lexington, KY. Must have experience with robotic and machine maintenance in an automotive plant setting.
Requirements of the Maintenance Manager
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- 7-10 years of supervisory experience
- Knowledge of Allen Bradley PLC
- Hands on maintenance experience; Journeyman card preferred
Responsibilities of the Maintenance Manager
- Plan, direct, and control cost of operations of the Maintenance Department in meeting Plant and equipment needs.
- Initiate preventive maintenance programs to minimize maintenance cost of all production equipment.
- Set up and maintain equipment inventory, repair and maintenance records on all plant machinery
- Schedule maintenance and repair priorities on normal plant building and equipment maintenance needs.
- Initiate and/or approve all requisitions for supplies, tools, materials, equipment, and/or services used or needed for the efficient operations of the Maintenance Department and submit the requisitions for approval.
- Recommend new equipment, new methods, and/or changes that will reduce cost of department operations, improve performance of the department, or increase the life and/or efficiencies of line operating equipment.
Salary : $90,000 - $110,000
