Requirements of the Production Planning Manager
- Requires 7-10 years of relevant experience as a leader in a manufacturing environment
- A minimum of 5 years experience as a Materials Manager in a manufacturing environment
- Tier 1/2 automotive experience preferred.
- Must be proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Must have the ability to lead and motivate people
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and have the ability to
- present information to all levels in the organization
- Ability to pay attention to detail, multi-task and follow direction
- Knowledge of Lean manufacturing concepts and experience
- Experience with Six Sigma is preferred
- Must be a dynamic, self-motivated and results driven leader with a proven record of generating and building relationships, managing projects, and demonstrating exceptional communication skills.

Responsibilities of the Materials Manager
- Direct responsibility to develop and manage the production forecast based on master plan, timelines, & material needs to define production requirements based on plant capacity.
- Must be able to adjust plans as necessary to accommodate changes in demand and ensure material supply availability to meet changes.
- Will have oversite of Production Planning department including warehouse operations and staff.
- Will report on production status and any issues to upper management.
- Liaise with Operations Team to resolve daily production line disruption and productivity issues.
Salary : $100,000 - $135,000
