Requirements of the Senior Financial Analyst
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or business within the construction industry is required
- Advanced degree, MBA or CPA certification preferred
- Proficiency in data analytic tools (Power BI, Tableau)
- Advanced MS Excel skills strongly preferred
- Excellent organizational and time management skills

Responsibilities of the Senior Financial Analyst
- Run key project and corporate reports including the following: accounts receivable (A/R), A/R audit report, WIP project status report).
- Run reports, analyze reports, check for accuracy, data integrity, errors, and ensure proper formatting
- Run other reports as assigned by your manager for the accounting department
- Run ad hoc project reports at the request of senior management on a company-wide, division, or per project Basis
- Run the Lock WIP transaction in PSA as well as other processes to begin the financial statement close process
- Work with Operations to review the current monthly WIP calculations to accurately reflect revenue.
- Run WIP Project Status report and analyze (i.e. start / completion dates, actual costs, % complete, etc.)
- Prepare GL account reconciliations as assigned on at least a monthly basis and not any unusual items or corrections as necessary
- Run month-end fixed asset reports. Make entries, corrections, additions, deletions to accurately track our fixed assets from an accounting perspective
- Main point person for entries, tracking, reporting and analysis of fixed assets, depreciation, disposals and coordination with company-wide personnel to ensure reports are updated and accurate
- Run month-end depreciation entries.
- Attend Accounting Coordination meetings as required and participate as an active attendee
- Optimize pricing models, product and service offerings, and sales processes to maximize revenue potential.
- Develop and implement revenue forecasting models based on historical data, market trends, and sales projections.
- Analyze GM% for product/service offerings, and sales processes to maximize revenue potential.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of revenue goals with overall business objectives.
- Conduct competitor and market-related research and analysis.
- Establish data analytics on extracting actionable insights from diverse datasets within Salesforce and PSA.
- Oversee the strategic use of Salesforce CRM platforms for effective revenue management reporting.
- Implement data governance policies to maintain data accuracy, integrity, and security.
- Lead initiatives for data enrichment, deduplication of client lists, and integration with other organizational systems.
- Analyze expense accounts related to the IT department, Marketing and the Business Development team members.
- Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPI’s) within Salesforce related to revenue, sales, and customer behavior.
- Develop and deliver insightful reports and dashboards to key stakeholders for informed decision-making process and outcomes.
- Regularly assess and communicate performance reports against established benchmarks.
- Provide leadership and guidance to ensure a unified understanding and commitment to revenue goals.
