This role requires heavy knowledge of residential maintenance foundations, rotating on-call availability, and effective verbal and written communication skills with residents, vendors, and team members.
Venterra Roving Maintenance Manager enjoy competitive hourly pay 10% performance-based bonus, paid out quarterly.
Given that the main focus of this role will require travel throughout the Atlanta Region the ideal candidate must have a valid driver’s license during their employment & have access to a working vehicle that allows the ability to travel throughout the region, as needed.
The Roving Maintenance Manager's role requires a wide range of various maintenance needs to assist on-site maintenance teams in the day-to-day operations of their properties. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following areas of routine, preventative, and emergency maintenance:
- Electrical
- Plumbing
- HVAC
- Appliance Repair
- Locks & Keys
- Basic Carpentry
- Painting and Drywall Repair
- Janitorial, Grounds
Requirements of the Position:
- Effective written and verbal communication
- Ability to take initiative and be a self-starter
- Excellent customer service skills are a must
- Prior experience in the facilities maintenance field
- Traveling domestically, as required in response to disaster events or other short-term and long-term organizational needs.
- Facilitate/coordinate periodic reviews, updates, and signoffs to ensure the completion of critical recovery documentation of infrastructure consistent with approved corporate policies, standards, and procedures.
Our Roving Maintenance Managers provide support set forth by the needs and priorities submitted by the Regional Maintenance Manager. They provide quality service to our residents, diagnose problems, and make repairs. They are responsible for routine and preventative maintenance repairs, as well as ensuring that Venterra's 48-Hour Service Guarantee is adhered to when completing service requests.
