Country Club Controller

Ventura Country Club Community HOA is a gated, self-managed community of more than 1,700 luxury homes and condominiums and an 18-hole semi-private golf course. Recreational facilities include swimming pools, tennis and basketball courts, children's play area, shuffleboard and bocce courts, as well as a fitness center.

This unique community features a Clubhouse, including a banquet hall, meeting rooms, activity rooms, and a full-service restaurant.

This full-time management position will be responsible for overall financial operations of the HOA, Golf Course, and Food & Beverage Operations.

Functional accountabilities will include, but not be limited to, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Collections, Cash Receipts, Reconciliations, Fixed Asset Management, Payroll, Annual Audit with outside firm, and Bank Accounts & Deposits.

• Experienced in cost and statistical analysis both in food, beverage and retail operations to assist management in making informed decisions.
• Prepares monthly financial statements for Board of Directors and General Manager, as well as other reporting as requested.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting with 3- 5 years’ industry experience to include supervisory and /or management responsibilities.
• Working knowledge and experience with Jonas Club Membership (POS) accounting solutions or similar country club membership and accounting software programs.
• Prefer experience with HOA fund accounting, HOA dues collections, receivables and delinquencies.
• Proficiency in all components of Microsoft Office with advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
