About the Role
The Branch Supervisor works under the leadership of the Branch Manager and Assistant Branch Manager to deliver exemplary service to our membership and internal staff. They are responsible for mentoring Tellers and Member Service Reps to practice and uphold VCCU’s Shared Values and Mission working in the best benefit of our membership and community partners.
This position is based at our Camarillo Branch. Shifts may include: 8AM – 5:30PM (M-W), 8AM – 6PM (Th-F), 8:30AM – 2:30PM (Sat)
What You’ll Do
- Support in the training and coaching of Tellers and Member Service Reps while maintaining operational integrity and minimizing potential losses to the membership and credit union.
- Assist with performance management, including monitoring cash drawers and limits, developing sales and referral goals, overseeing meal/rest breaks and creating schedules.
- Engage in decision-making by providing overrides, check approvals, and handling members’ concerns/complaints with minimal assistance.
- Perform teller functions, as needed. Including processing deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, account closeouts, bond redemptions and file maintenances as directed; cashes checks; activates and changes PINs for ATM and debit cards; issues cashiers’ checks, credit union checks and traveler’s checks; processes mail, Night Deposit and Quick Drop deposits; generates statements; accepts stop payment requests.
- Perform new account functions, as needed. Including opening establishing new memberships, funding loans, and identifying referral and cross-sell opportunities based on account history and member needs.
What We’re Seeking
- Previous teller and/or new accounts experience, 3 years required
- Previous lead and/or supervisor experience at a financial institution preferred
What Will Make You Stand Out
- Fluency in Spanish, specifically in finance/banking terminology
- Working knowledge of the following systems – Symitar/Episys and MeridianLink

Qualifications
Salary : $25 - $32
