Ventura Law, an established (founded in 1957) and growing law firm, needs a talented individual to assist new clients during challenging times. Our firm is dedicated to providing exceptional legal support, a teamwork environment, and strong client service. The position will be located in our Danbury, Connecticut office. Must have strong organizational skills along with the ability to handle a fast-paced environment. Must be bilingual in Spanish, Portuguese speaking a plus.
Salary commensurate with experience. Generous insurance and PTO benefit package includes 3% employer-funded 401(k) contributions.

Essential Duties Include:
Performing Intake Screening for Non-PI Cases and making referrals
Preparing and sending letters to potential clients for cases that will not be retained.
Assisting with Personal Injury Case Intake Follow-Up:
Inputting information regarding leads into the firm’s case management system.
Requesting and following up on police reports requests and Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests
Other requirements for this position include:

- Ability to determine and meet the needs of clients, attorneys, and other business partners.
- Ability to prioritize and adapt to changing work environments, management styles, and business trends to meet the changing needs of the department as it assumes new projects and cases.
- Ability to work in a team environment, remaining attentive to ideas, recognizing responsibilities, and actively participating with others to accomplish assignments and achieve desired goals.
- Knowledge of and ability to use immediately all Microsoft Office programs including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Bilingual: Either Spanish or Portuguese
