Travel OR Tech is needed to start ASAP in a Hospital in Nebraska. BLS is required. Primarily Days- shifts may vary. 36 hours per week are guaranteed. ON CALL 1X A WEEK, WITH CALL EVERY 5TH WEEKEND. Prefer experience in Ortho, Neuro and Trauma. The Surgical Technician (ST) works under the direct supervision of the Unit Manager and the indirect supervision of the Service-Line Coordinator/Perioperative Director. The Surgical Technologist handles the instruments, supplies, and equipment necessary during a surgical procedure. He/she is beginning to have an understanding of the procedure being performed and is starting to anticipate the surgeon’s needs. He/she actively participates in the “Time Out” pre-procedure. The Surgical Technologist provides safe, quality patient care during the surgical procedure and is vigilant in the need to maintain the sterile field.
